Lianne Batista has over 33 years of experience in health care. She graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on pediatric intensive care. She later returned to U of T and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Since then, she has worked in private practice with a focus on orthopedic physiotherapy, and has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of age groups and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
During the course of her career in Western health care, Lianne developed an interest in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its powerful healing capabilities. In 2013, she became a Registered Acupuncturist, and in 2021 she graduated with a Diploma of Acupuncture from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has experience in treating a wide range of medical conditions, including women’s health issues, insomnia, and cancer care.
Combining her knowledge in these distinct disciplines, Lianne provides holistic, comprehensive and individualized care to every one of her patients.
